OUR TEAM

Ellyn Ito – Managing Director & Principal

For over 20 years, Ellyn Ito has used her background in human resources management to mitigate risks and enhance operations in organizations experiencing growth and contraction. Having worked with startup and midsized telecommunications, technology, and healthcare companies, as well as Fortune 500 corporations, Ms. Ito has held leadership positions helping companies leverage their human capital. As well, she has led programs in training and development, employee relations, international recruitment and the relocation of “commodity” labor (such as call-center activities and manufacturing) both domestically and abroad. Having served in executive roles, Ms. Ito has had broad operational experience including sales/marketing, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and business restructuring. From her experience managing Human Resources, Ms. Ito gained the keen perspective of how seemingly small business decisions impact the human element and how this in turn, directly impacts the success or failure of a work community.  In addition to serving as the Managing Director of Sigma Integrated Resources, Ms. Ito is also the Executive Director and trustee for Seeds to Sew International, Inc., a non-profit focused on improving the lives of women and girls in compromised communities.

Ms. Ito is a member of the Board of Directors for Holy Redeemer Home Care, serves on the Executive Board of Rider University’s Women’s Leadership Council, and serves as the Board Chair for the Hopewell Valley Youth Chorale.   Ms. Ito received an SPHR certification in 2005, is a certified DDI Facilitator/Trainer, and is the recipient of the “Top Human Resource Business Leader for 2004” Award from the Society of Human Resources Management organization.  She holds a dual-major B.A. in Anthropology and English Literature from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She lives in Hopewell, NJ with her two school-aged children, and her husband, Daniel M. Sigman, a Professor of Geosciences at Princeton University.
